Before placement, trainees complete three months of classroom-based and practical preparation, followed by a three-month supported placement.

06Police clearance before placement
Candidates must have completed Grade 12 and be able to read, write and speak English. Completing training does not automatically guarantee placement; readiness and circumstances are considered before any introduction.

Join the family workshop
Every prospective employer attends a half-day workshop in person in Ndola before meeting a trainee. Online attendance is not offered at this stage.

Meet and decide together
We introduce a potentially suitable candidate. You interview her and make the final employment decision; the candidate must also freely agree.

Agree clearly in writing
Once both parties agree, we provide guidance for a written employment contract covering responsibilities, hours, salary and key terms.

Receive weekly support
For the first three months, both parties receive follow-up by telephone, WhatsApp or online meetings, with guidance to address difficulties early.
An important distinction
Professional childcare responsibilities are different from general household or maid duties.
The family workshop helps employers set appropriate expectations, supervise respectfully and give constructive feedback.
